The Treasure Island (TI), located on the Las Vegas Strip,
had their grand opening on October 26th, 1993. Accommodations include
2,885 guest rooms with 220 suites all equipped with high speed internet
access.
Treasure Island amenities include a
tropical pool with private cabanas, a lounge areas and TI's Party Tub that
features an oversized hot tub that accommodates up to 50 people. There is
a wedding chapel that seats 65 guest or couples can get married on the
Siren ship in Sirens' Cove. TI guest will also enjoy WET - The Spa at TI
that provide WET's water-based signature services.
A pedestrian bridge offers easy access
to the Fashion Show Mall allowing TI guest to shop at upscale stores that
include Bloomingdale's Home + Furniture Store, Nordstrom, Macy's and Saks
Fifth Avenue. Treasure Island also has 18,000 square feet of convention
and meeting facilities.
The Treasure Island offers slot and table players
more than 90,000 square feet of gaming area. Players should
register for the MGM MIRAGE Players Club card. You will receive
a card that offers you the opportunity to
earn points redeemable for cash, complimentary rooms and show
tickets good at ten resorts and casinos including the
Bellagio,
MGM Grand,
Mandalay
Bay, The
Mirage,
Treasure Island,
Monte Carlo,
New York-New York,
the Luxor,
the MGM Grand in Detroit and the
Beau Rivage located in Biloxi, MS.
Treasure Island entertainment includes
Cirque du Soleil's® Mystere, a cast of 70 acrobats, clowns,
comedians, actors and musicians from around the world. Another favorite
Treasure Island attraction is The Sirens of TI that features a clash
between a group of beautiful, tempting sirens and a band of renegade
pirates.
